Penhold occurs as settlement around central Alberta, Canada with a people of 1,729 (2001). Penhold is in the county of Red Deer #23, upright south of Red Deer on Highway 2A. These are Tenner klick southwest of Red Deer & 128 kilometre northward of Calgary.
Area Overview
Originally, Penhold was one of a numbers of whistle blocks along a railway, until 1904 after a Village of Penhold was established.
By using its close proximity to a city of Red Deer & the town of Innisfail, Penhold enjoys the benefits of the village while forgoing lacking any of the agreeableness of the big city.
Within 1981, the village of Penhold became a town following of big people incubation in the late 1970s. Penhold, called "The Home of Future Generations", at present lies in two sides of main road 2A by having new expansion aforethought on the east side of the highway.
